Les Papilles

Bertrand Bluy's bistrot is a haunt of hearty dudes who likes a good fight on the field (rugby field, they're from Biarritz) and who are also pretty good on the menu side.
To be fair, you won't have much say on the menu choice as there is only a single preset menu designed everyday from what Bertrand finds on the daily market!
But when it comes to wine, you'll have to pick up yourself your own bottle from the 300+ references' wine list and get it directly out of the cellar... this should take up enough of your energy!

Well done: you can leave with your wine (carrying bag offered) if you didn't completely finish your bottle (this is not such an obvious feature in french restaurant)
Very well done!: 28,50€ for a 4 courses menu - you can't beat this value for money.
awesome deal: the food is gorgeous and plenty, the ambiance is friendly, and your waiters kindness is contagious...
Little down grade, I find the 6€ mark up for your diner wine from the take-away price a little expensive.
p.s. strongly consider making a reservation a few days ahead as the place is always fully booked.
